Necessary equipment for hiking and mountaineering
Hiking, and the mountaineering from which this modality comes, are sports more and more practiced. In both cases, We can define it as a long walk or walk in the middle of nature in an uncivilized environment. When we talk about mountaineering, the environment becomes even wilder, remote from civilization and inhospitable. The goal of a day of hiking as a sports activity is to reach the end of the trail and be able to contemplate landscapes or other jewels of nature for which there is no other way to access it than on foot., unique views, exotic flora and fauna, waterfalls of great beauty etc…
When we go hiking we need minimal equipment to be able to enjoy the activity. The equipment will be determined by the difficulty of the trail and our experience as hikers. exist 4 difficulty levels.
When we meet on a level trail 1, of those that can be done in the same day without sleeping away from home, the necessary equipment is brief and is reduced to water and clothing suitable for the time of year. A complete equipment for hiking of any level of difficulty will require
1. Sufficient liquid for the estimated duration of the tour.
2. Appropriate clothing, warm in winter and cool in summer.
3. Sunglasses. It is essential to wear sunglasses, especially on trails in the south or in warmer areas.
3. Flashlight or torch.
4. Kit with the basic elements for an emergency cure.
5. Fire-lighting items such as lighters, torches etc
6. Swiss knife. Ideal for unforeseen situations that may arise.
