Why travel to Bulgaria?:
The Vitosha and Rila mountains why this trip is in snowshoeing are among the highest in the Balkans. Route highlights:
Vitosha National Park: It is just 40 min de la capital. It is one of the highest mountains in Bulgaria and from its highest peak, The Cherni Vrah (2.290m) a wonderful view opens to the two most famous mountain ranges of Bulgaria: Rilay mountains of the Central Balkan Mountains.
National Park Rila: It is one of the few regions in Europe, where the influence of man on the environment still does not feel much and where you can go for days without finding anyone to disturb your personal experience. Here we will explore some of the highest places in the Balkans: pico Musala (2.925 m).
Rila Monastery-Museum: It is the star of the Orthodox monasteries in Bulgaria. For several centuries kept the Christian spirit in the lands conquered by the Turkish Empire. The place most appreciated and respected by the Bulgarian is an extraordinary example of architecture, Bulgarian medieval culture and traditions.
La capital de Bulgaria: Sofia is one of the oldest cities in Europe. We reserved a time to visit the majestic Cathedral Alexander Nevski, Russian church with golden domes, the modern center, shopping or a relaxing stroll through the parks and streets of Sofia White.

Day 1: Flight to Sofia. Transfer and accommodation at hotel 4****. Walk around the capital. Dinner and brief presentation of the route and guides.
Accommodation: hotel 4****.
Day 2: 
After transfer by road to the alpine center Malyovitsa, located in the Rila.
Ramp: 840 m. Duration of the walking route: Approx.: 6 hours if you include the ascent to the peak. Accommodation: mountain hotel 2**.
Day 3: We started the day with a gentle climb of about 1 Malyovitsa hour to hostel (1.960m). We had tea and well heated muscles continue with a steep climb, to the lake "Strashnoto ezero" (2.575m.). Return to hotel and dinner.
On this day the route will take us through the paths of the National Park Rila, opening beautiful views to some of the highest peaks of the mountain.
Ramp 680 m. Duration 5 a 6 hours. Accommodation: hotel 2**
Morning 4: Moving about. 30 min. drive to the ski resort of Borovets. Day dedicated to the ascent of Mount Musala (2.925m). We take the cable car to take us in Borovets 23 min. to the last station is 2.369m. From there we cut down and then attack the highest peak of the Balkan Peninsula, Musala with 2.925 meters. Back to Borovets. Return to hotel and dinner.
Positive slope 700 m. Duration 5 a 7 hours.
Day 5: 
Accommodation: Mountain Hotel (Photo ver Annex).
This mountain hotel is isolated in winter and there can not be reached by car. That is why this day each participant should bring with him his shoes and change clothes for the night we were there, our vehicle for transfers will remain below.
Day 6: We performed a walk around the area of the famous Seven Rila Lakes. Ramp 200 m. Approximate 2 hours. From there we headed to the recreation center through the hostel Panichishte Skakavitsa (1.860m.) and visited the spectacular waterfall of 82m height Skakavitsa.
Vertical descent 550 m. Approximate 4-5 hours.
Accommodation: hotel 2** recreation center in Panichishte.
Day 7: Leaving behind the peaks of Rila continue by car to the Rila Monastery. On the way we can move to visit (optional) the hot springs in the town of Sapareva Banya, and continue the path to the pearl of the Bulgarian monasteries. Visit to the Rila Monastery-Museum. Lunch. Transfer to the capital Sofia. Overnight stay at the hotel. Free time. Price. Accommodation: Hotel 4****
Day 8: Breakfast. Depending on the time of departure: Ride (optional) by visiting the center of Sofia Sveti Aleksandar Nevski Cathedral, the outdoor hot springs, Archaeological Museum, etc. Of course you can also go shopping or do another activity to choose. Transfer to airport and farewell.
